Anyway, the Chinese exam was pretty okay, just that the compo paper was a little difficult. Hope I get 7 though! I really don't want to retake it. Duh. Went out with the class people to MindCafe at Dhoby Ghaut, hope they had fun, I was just getting started on the LOTR Monopoly when I had to leave to meet Min Jie and Wee Peng. We walked around and went to the green tea place at Raffles City, had a nice time catching up and they were talking about the people they "bullied". Pouring laksa over some poor junior's head when we were in Lower Sec? Haha.
Had EFG Clean & Green Week at Suntec for the past two days, it was pretty boring, had to explain the same thing over and over again to primary school kids and occasionally, secondary schools. We were next to the RI booth. Our booth didn't have a dustbin, so I threw my drink into their dustbin. Which was just a cardboard box with no plastic bag, and my drink was full of melted ice. =P The eco fashion show was pretty cool, its pretty amazing what the schools came up with using recycled and waste materials, Bedok South and St. Andrews Sec were the best in my opinion, but... my alma mater won it. I should sound happier, but the outfits were really ugly and gross in my opinion. Plus I had no clue who those girls who modelled the clothes were. Did some walking around and shopping around Suntec and Raffles City with Amanda and Adel, Amanda got a blazer from topshop and used my card because I begged her to (I've only used it once due to Wee Peng borrowing it). And she got a pair of very high heels from Guess at Raffles City by reserving it thru the Suntec Guess store and she borrowed my Guess VIP discount. I've never used it before, only bought from Guess that one time I got the VIP card. Lol.
Yesterday I went to Cliff's house, when I was at the bus stop waiting for the bus with Cliff, I met Min Jie and some of the 2A people from our batch-Amanda, Wen Bin, Yong Sheng and Xin Zi. Decided to go with them, but in the end they stayed in Katong to eat supper, so I just sat there and talked with them. Turns out Xin Zi knows Lloyd. And.. to my horror, saw Peter Davies (my geog teacher) walk by on the upper level. The coffee shop is "below ground" by the way. And he was with some woman. He was wearing his usual work clothes, with his laptop bag and all. The woman looked angmoh to me with her hair colour, but Min Jie the woman looked Filipino. And the area has been known to be residence to Filipino prostitutes recently. And the woman was dressing indecently, according to Min Jie. Erm.. yeah. Was shocked to see him there, though I saw him at Parkway before.
Have to write a testimony for my confirmation on Christmas and get started on EE outline. Sigh. Work. On the other hand, I've finally started reading 1421-The Year China Discovered America by Gavin Menzies. It seems pretty interesting so far, enough to make me want to read more.
Watched Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice just now, and I got the Stereophonics album, got it from http://musicistheheartofoursourl.blogspot.com
