Whew. Been so busy this whole week with The Promise musical. Now that its over, I have pretty much nothing to do. Well I have to spend time with Cliff now that he's back and leaving soon on the 10th for Canada, and prayer room stuff for the Youth Camp. The Promise is really good, according to the people who watched. I watched during the first few rehearsals on Monday and Tuesday, it really is good. Most people are quite happy its over, but I feel like Evan, I kinda miss it already. And I wasn't even part of the cast. I guess its because I went to the first practice and really saw how they progressed until now. I was doing lighting along with Duane, Melvin, Moses and David but we got "fired" for not doing it too well. Lol. So we switched to wardrobe and had way more fun there. We were really good at our jobs, which is stripping people and helping them change, putting on the Roman soldier's outfit, angel costumes, the Jewish priest costume for all 12 disciples. It was really rushed but fun at the same time. I'll miss the musical so much =(

On Friday some people came over to play Settlers after the Promise, specifically Ben, Glenn, Marianne, Des, Jon Ma and Duane. I slept at 2 while the rest left around 3, and Glenn and Marianne stayed over. It was quite sad that they had choir at Siglap South so I went to the Promise alone. Marianne, Des and I took taxi from UCC and dropped Wanjing off at Clementi MRT. It was quite funny, cos Wanjing asked Lim Yu Beng (Tan Kheng Hua's husband) to take a picture with her. Lim Yu Beng and Tan Kheng Hua had a show next door at the UCC theatre and Wanjing came to watch the Promise. FYI Tan Kheng Hua is Margaret from Phua Chu Kang. After she took a pic with him, he said "thank you for coming to my show". She didn't say anything much to him, haha.

Wong Tze informed me just now through email that I could send him my EE draft thru email instead of a hard copy, which means I don't need to go school tomorrow! I can sleep in and get flowers for the TKSS concert tomorrow night at Bedok interchange. The flowers there are really cheap, according to my sister. I'm gonna get my yakpak tomorrow! And maybe my Guess wallet on Wednesday, b'day present from my parents. Can't wait for my birthday gathering at MindCafe with some people from the 07 AHS choir batch. They're really my closest group of friends besides the kias. I don't know whether any of them feel this way though, since a lot of them were quite close to their class, unlike me. I don't have a whole group of close friends that were from my classes, only a few very good or best friends, like Wee Peng/Min Jie/Si Han... Some choir people were from my classes but I only got to know them and talk to them thru Choir, like Joel Tan and Yee Kei. Maybe this is why I had such high expectations of choirs and when I went to the AC choir it was like, "what kind of choir is this?" It kinda explains why I don't even bother going for choir nowadays. I thought I would have good friends there, but apparently I was wrong. First impressions are never a good judgement.

I got many many new cds this week! From the Integrity/Alby music warehouse sale at Kallang. I got Saviour of the World, All For Love and the Always and Forever albums from Planetshakers, all the Afters' albums, Switchfoot's The Best Yet (like a Greatest Hits) and Delirious' newest album. I bought for Des Jon Foreman's Spring and Summer EP and the newest Hillsong London album thats not out in stores yet, plus some posters for her. I got the Killers' Day and Age too! Cliff  bought it for me from Jakarta. My sister also got 4 other albums from the sale, albums from artists like Casting Crowns and Jars of Clay.

Today Cliff came to my house after church, we went for lunch with my parents at Kallang again. Had the usual fantastic tang yuan. Haha. We watched Drumline, I fell asleep and he watched till the end. It didn't really matter since I watched it before, many times in fact. Its an absolutely fantastic show, definitely for people who are in band or play the drums. Nick Cannon is the main character. I find it quite funny that he's married to Mariah Carey.

Anyway, I'm gonna get the Westlife dvd soon! Its out I think, its "Live at Croke Park", out Nov 24th. Can't wait!
