The Afters-Never Going Back to OK

Just came back from the TKSS concert not long ago, more people from KPC went than I expected, Evan, Des, Duane, Daryl, Yao Qi, Jeremy and Mel (Melvin) were there. I had quite a good time, but Cliff didn't go =( He was sick, so I let him rest at home instead of forcing him to go. Hope he really gets well and "kang fu" soon. It was a nice concert, with some boring parts, especially the Chinese and Jap songs, with the exception of Yuki Nohi, since AHS choir sang that before. They didn't sing Meplalian very well though, not much energy, out of tune and rhythm sometimes. The guys looked quite weird wearing sashes at one part too. Spotted all the people I went to see, gave flowers to Marianne, Glenn, Tate, Yee Kei, Shawn Chan, Liting and Wen Juan. Met Mr Toh there too, talked to him a while with Yewsti and Wei Yang. Joel went off with his sis who was there too.

Had a nice time catching up with them, chatting about people with funny names like DANG THE CUONG, and weird MRT incidents, like some old lady who threw her plastic bag on her seat to "chope" it. We also talked about crazy people you meet on the bus. Joel was saying when he was at the bus stop outside TJC and sitting down, another TJ girl sat down next to him and this old man went up to them and said "xiao xin ai zhi bing". In case you don't get what I'm typing, its "be careful of getting AIDS". We really loao (laughed our asses off) at that! Haha.

When the concert ended, Lu and I also shouted "Dang the Cuong". Haha! FYI, Dang the Cuong is a guy from NUS Engineering, and David, Mel and I saw his picture and name at the school when we were taking a break from the Promise at UCC, opposite the road from the Engineering school. We tricked Marianne and Glenn into thinking he was a student at MJC, a top scorer, in Marianne's batch. Haha. Shouting it was just random. Lu and I were making many snide comments about the choirs and stuff, using our trademark "words", like yewsti, titiang and pongcang. Haha. Titiang and pongcang are words from Meplalian, and yewsti is from Mr Toh accidentally saying Exultate Yewsti (actually spelled Justi) instead of Exultate Deo. These words are our inventions. Haha. I remembered hearing Exultate Justi at a choir concert with Lu and we were saying, "this is our song!" and it turned out to be a pretty awful sounding song. Haha.

Anyway, something is wrong with The Afters album, I think there was some problem with the importing into iTunes, but I can't import it again, its with Des. But so far I absolutely love it. There's nice, catchy songs, and slow and lovely songs. A really fun song is "MySpace Girl". "Never Going Back to OK" is really nice too.

Anyway, majority of the people I invited to my b'day thingy at MindCafe is going, except for Rui Shan. I changed the time and now Joel and Lu can make it. Can't wait! I'm gonna get my yakpak tomorrow! Thats if I can find a one that I like though.

I really don't want photo frames and notebooks for my b'day. Hopefully my mum will get me the Guess wallet and it'll be in stock still, and I still want Westlife's Croke Park DVD and Kaiser Chiefs' Off With Their Heads album and the Indie Rock tee from fourskin at Marina!

Anyway, I'm off to watch a VCD, maybe Scary Movie 3? Going to bring the obese doggie to the Vet tomorrow morning too. Ciao!
