Fall Out Boy-20 Dollar Nose Bleed
Seems like I haven't blogged in a long time! Been hanging out with the kias these few days. Friday was the first day of school, it was pretty okay, uneventful, I'm quite relieved not to be in Paul Tan's class and I don't have Chirnside for History! But we got the Dean instead!!! Went with Amanda to Dover Market after school as I was waiting to meet Ben, Duane and Maha there. She told me some of her woes. Lol. Poor girl. I'll help her out as much as I can. So I met the rest in the end, we went to Buona Vista and they accompanied me to Tiong Bahru to make my ez-link card, then went to Lavender to make my IC at the ICA. I queued for quite long, only to be told to queue again because if my IC was stolen its a different queue. I couldn't be bothered, so I'm going back another day. At least I got my ez-link..
So we headed to the East after that, Duane and Maha went home while Ben and I headed to the Airport for Ben to apply for jobs at the Starbucks, Coffee Bean and Gloria Jean's. We met Maha after that, he went to work at Sakae and Ben and I went to eat at Sakae. Haha. It was quite weird. Maha is such a slacker la. Ben and I stayed at Sakae for 3 hrs! Could tell the waiters were anxious for us to go; they kept checking our bill. Maha didn't wear black shoes, which they were supposed to wear, so he stayed at one corner, while all the staff scurried around getting ready for their big boss to come, and in the end the boss didn't come. Ben and I went off around 9.15, headed to Tanah Merah and we walked to my house from the MRT. Its not that long, I used to walk home from AHS sometimes with Min Jie. So he waited for me while I changed and stuff, I was still in school U at that time. We headed to Shu Hui's house after that. She and Tanya weren't there yet, so we waited in her room, read a bit of Cleo, found Kai Chian in Cleo, as one of those people who commented on Gossip Girl. Lol. In the end Tanya was in a rush to go home, so we met them outside the house and I headed home with Tanya. Lol.
Yesterday morning I went to church for a make-up session of the GL/GFs retreat, talked to Amanda and Marianne about our class of 2009. Headed to Ben's house afterwards, hung out there and left around 4 plus to meet Maha at Eunos to go to TWPC for the Promise Thanksgiving, listened to some sharing, and had dinner. We saw the ranting woman, and out of all those who shared, only Damien thanked the Wardrobe people! Sigh. Oh but David who acted as the Angel/Peter gave us all chocolate! Lol.
Maha, Ben and I headed to Anchorpoint after that. We were supposed to go back and take MRT, but we saw the shuttle bus, and just randomly decided to go. They had Subway there, and we walked around, we spent a lot of time in Cold Storage due to Ben and Maha discussing all the dairy products there. Milk, yoghurt, cheese... etc. Lol. Weird. After that I had my gui ling gao, had to eat it cos I'm falling sick. We took a bus to the NUH area after that, and walked to Holland V after that. Its not that short a distance though. They wanted to go to 2am the dessert bar to have dessert, but it turned out to be closed for a private party, and we couldn't find anywhere else to go, so we walked back to Buona Vista and headed home. On the train, when Ben left already, Maha and I were talking about Liverpool stuff, and the guy next to us laughed when Maha said "Torres is really good". That guy was a Liverpool fan. He gave Maha his New Paper to let him read the soccer news and insisted Maha keep it, but then Maha insisted he take it back.... So on and so forth.
After that I headed home, talked on the phone and had... a final ending to everything. I think we both needed that conversation to really end things. It was sad, but at the same time it wasn't a bitter ending where we were both angry at each other. I think we both understood each other's point of view, but ultimately, its God's way we have to take. So... it ends there. I really thank God that I have my friends to help me, esp Ben, who's been nothing but caring. As for Cliff, I'm sure he's strong enough with God to help him through too.
Its been bittersweet. Thanks for everything. As the song goes, Thnks fr the Mmrs.
