I’m sick… Down with fever and a horrible sore throat. Saw the doctor just now, its a new doctor I went to, he’s really nice. He asked me if IB was hard, I said yeah. Almost full marks is needed to get into medicine. Then he asked me if I wanted to do medicine, obviously I said no. He said being a doctor must really be out of passion and care for others and not about the money, if not its not worth it to be a doctor. He also referred me to CGH Dermatology about my rashes. Ick.
Went for FOB concert on Tuesday night, it was pretty awesome. Hey Monday opened the show, they remind me of Paramore, with a frontwoman and the rest of the band being males. The concert was probably only one hour? Fun anyway. They played a lot of songs I didn’t know, from the first album they had, before From Under the Cork Tree. So couldn’t really sing along to a lot of stuff. And I didn’t know the new songs that well either. Kim and I met up for dinner beforehand, we didn’t get any merchandise that night. At the end of the show I wanted to get the Hey Monday cd but it sold out like right before it was my turn. Pete Wentz talked a lot, the rest actually didn’t say anything, except for Patrick explaining why he doesn’t talk much at concerts, due to a bad impression he gave at one of their first few concerts. It was Hey Monday’s first arena show, which was pretty cool. Pete said something about how he would like to explain the songs but he can’t always do so, and he’s glad to do it here since he doesn’t have to worry about “someone from TMZ in the audience”. Lol. The moshing wasn’t that bad, it was pretty bad in the beginning, Kim fell down, but we somehow got pushed to the back later on and there was no moshing there. Good thing. I don’t really like moshing. Nearing the end of the show, Pete went into the audience and while he was “on top” of everyone, Kim Loo who was there too, told me that Douglas and the other .13 guys pulled him down, so Pete fell down to the floor. Lol. His pants were nearly off when he managed to get out of the crowd. I was pretty near to them, but couldn’t get close enough. Sigh. I felt like asking Pete “How’s Bronx Mowgli Wentz?” Haha.
After that Kim and I got the autograph of the bassist from Hey Monday and a picture with the drummer. Cool =D I realised its so not worth it to go to a concert and not stand/sit at the best area. Good thing this was worth it. It would be pretty boring to sit in the stands.
Okay, gonna rest now.. Doubt I”ll be able to perform for Orientation Night tomorrow though I want to =(
