Happiness

Y’know, I really don’t think life is about happiness. It really isn’t. If it was about happiness and fun, then you’ll probably find me going to concerts and clubbing every night. Not that I’ve experienced clubbing. Just kinda thought a lot about that issue after Sharry asked me to go.

Happiness is temporary. Its fleeting. Its a temporary high, as Stacie Orrico sings.

I think life is about love. Love for God. God’s love. Which leads to a love for life. Love for the people around you. Seeing God in the midst of all your struggles. If life was about happiness, why would we have so many struggles? The struggles are for us to hold onto God. To grow. To learn. To be tested.
