P!nk-So What, Katy Perry-Hot and Cold

Been pretty busy over the weekend and today. On Saturday I went for Joy's one month celebration, she is seriously a cute baby. Can't wait to see what she looks like as a toddler. I didn't spend much time there, but I did get to admire the scenery from there, the seaview chalet is really nice, I've never been there and its like right next to the sea, really nice.

After that I had nothing to do but meet Nic at 7 at Parkway so I went to Desiree's house along with Dawn and Yao Qi and their friend Cyrus, they were doing some video for their module in NUS. I was their test subject, and gave my view of the video and stuff. I caught up with the season of 90210 for the rest of the time I was there.

Then left to meet Nic at Parkway, he didn't know where Borders or Watsons was. Lol. After that we were racking our brains on where to go, because I didn't want to spend 3 hours at Parkway when I go there almost 3 times a week. So we decided to call Joel Tan and see if he was at home, then we could go visit him again like last time. Haha. The last time we walked from Katong to Bedok Reservoir to visit Joel. Just for fun. And he wasn't at home. Lol. We waited at the void deck for him to come home from a wedding dinner. But this time he wasn't at home, he was in church, as usual. Lol. So we walked to Katong, then walked to Eunos mrt station. By the long way, from Katong to Still Road, then to Eunos. We always end up walking so much. Then went to Downtown East, ate Subway. Met a primary school friend there who's in TJC now, and before we recognised each other, Nic said she's quite pretty. He was so embarassed after that. Haha. Then we headed to a corner of Pasir Ris Park next to Downtown East, still somewhere near the main road. We sat down and chatted, mostly about Christian issues? I was pleasantly surprised not long ago when he told me he was attending church at Cornerstone. What a change. Oh well, God works in amazing ways! After that he actually sent me home, and he didn't complain. Haha. To think he lives right next to Downtown East yet he sent me home by MRT then bus to my house in the middle of Tanah Merah and Bedok then back by bus and MRT then bus again to his house. Thanks =D I had a nice time catching up, since the last time I saw him was at Singfest. Gonna see the other choir people on my b'day in December, if Nic actually remembers to plan it. Hopefully he does. Lol.

On Sunday went at 9 to Fei Fei coffee shop to meet SY and Andrea for breakfast/youth camp prayer comm meeting, but Andrea was still at home sleeping. And she lives in Bishan. And we couldn't really hold the meeting without her since there was nothing to discuss. She didn't come for Youth in the end, she and Matthew both overslept. Lol. After that went for lunch at Kallang hawker centre, then went to Tangs with my mum, got proper baking tools, like proper measuring tools, but I still don't have nice bowls to make stuff in, but I guess I can just use normal bowls. I got a cookie tray too! Now I can make cookies. I had to make muffins/apple crumble/cake last time and not cookies, which was weird since people usually start with cookies. There was a Tangs sale, and 2 new bolsters for the house. My bolster is going flat. Lol. And then I dropped the shopping bag with the baking and other tools on my foot. I still have a bruise today, foot kinda swollen. But whats new? This year I saw the doctor a few times just because I was clumsy. I think I hit my foot somewhere like 3 times, Yun Min stepped on me with her stilettos during FOA rehearsal and the list goes on. And the most stupid one was that I sat on my own finger and injured it. Thats how dumb I am. Lol.

So went home with aching feet, then had a shower and headed to the Yongs' house, but Jon wasn't there, he was at Raymond's for math tuition. Was kinda disappointed, since I wanted to catch up with him, but in the end he came home, but I was playing Gin Rummy by then all the way till 11? 10 games. I didn't win, of course, but I won 1 round. When I was leaving then Jon told me about his new target (girl) and his new favourite brand (Topman), cos I was wearing my Topman hoodie in church in the morning.

So today I slept in, when I woke up, I found Ps Joshua at my house talking to my parents, and headed out to watch HSM3 with Cliff at Cineleisure Orchard. Met Chris Foo there, he was with his "boyfriend" buying shoes. Lol. HSM3 was not bad, but I really couldn't stand Vanessa Hudgens. We went Wheelock after for a late lunch at NYDC, I ate more than him again, and we took a taxi to my house. I was so tired I slept in the taxi and we just spent the rest of the day talking. I was quite quiet when we were out and just being anti-social but somehow talked more when I was at home. I'm tired now after typing in the Prayer Chain schedule.

I'm glad its my holidays and I don't have PW to do. =D

If any KPC Kias are reading this, please sign up for the PRAYER CHAIN! This is one way you can serve in the ministry and the Youth Camp! There are still many time slots available, especially those from 6am-10am. Look for me on Saturday/Sunday to sign up!

So Jane's Addiction reunited for a gig in LA, but I'm not really interested. I know they're like a legend and hailed as godlike by NME, but still... I just haven't come across any of their songs. I only know them because of Dave Navarro.

Kanye has a new song-Robocop. The video I know of has been removed, so I haven't heard it yet too.

Lily Allen's new song-Everyone's At It. Apparently its about the dangers facing teenagers nowadays and she's been made an honourary Kaiser Chief. What a shame, in my opinion. You can hear it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RuQy8sKKak

R.E.M.'s new video-Until the Day is Done
