Forgiveness

Has it ever occurred to you that forgiving may be selfish? It all lies in the motive of forgiving. Most of the time we forgive others, so that we can move on and get on with our lives. Perhaps we’ve been stuck in a phase for too long where we have a grudge against someone. Moving on is what you want to do. So we forgive. Bring ourselves to forgive so that it may be difficult. Yet at the same time, we don’t realise that we’re forgiving others for ourselves and not out of love for them?

How can we truly forgive?

We are so far from God.

We are were so screwed, not anymore. Thanks to God’s perfect forgiveness out of love for us and not for Him to move on.
