I just read the Wiki article on Henry Cavill, and wow, he’s really unfortunate.

He auditioned for the lead role in Batman Begins but lost out to Christian Bale. Fans wanted him to play Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter but he lost out to Robert Pattinson. He auditioned for Superman and didn’t get the part, lost it to Brandon Routh. Wanted to play James Bond, but lost out to Daniel Craig. And he auditioned for Twilight. For the role of Edward Cullen. Even Stephanie Meyer wanted him to play the part. But he was 24 at that time and so he lost out to Robert Pattinson. Again.

How tragic right?! Oh well he got to play a lead role on The Tudors. Which is why I know about him. And the fact that I can notice him when Jonathan Rhys Meyers is on the show is pretty remarkable. Lol.
