Took this from a YouTube video description: “Tonight: Franz Ferdinand is music of the night: to fling yourself around your room to as you psyche yourself for a night of hedonism, for the dance-floor, flirtation, for your desolate heart-stop, for losing it and loving losing it, for the chemical surge in your bloodstream. Its for that lonely hour gently rocking yourself waiting for dawn and it all to be even again.” Apparently Alex Kapranos said that about their album. He found a perfect way to put the album and the feeling it conveys into words.

I’m at home today again, decided not to go to school cos’ History lesson is cut short today cos’ of the PTM. Found another mistake in the word count of my EE. Getting really frustrated with wasting all that paper and ink.

Watched Public Enemies last Sat with my mum, sis and Nicholas. Its a fantastic film, everyone should go watch it. Its a film that really makes me admire the director and the cinematography. The movie is seamless and somehow the very simple storyline of police and thief is amazingly brought out in a pretty long duration of 2h15min. Was captivated every moment of it. I’ve never understood Johnny Depp’s appeal until watching this movie. It would do the movie injustice to simply describe the storyline. Its more of the emotion and depth portrayed, of heartbreak, brokenness, nostalgia, reckless abandonment, anticipation and excitement that cannot be contained… And so much more. My linguistics is quite limited and I can’t put it as wonderfully as Alex Kapranos. Haha.

So go watch it!

I really like the artwork in Franz Ferdinand’s Eleanor Put Your Boots On video btw.

Just another nice picture to leave y’all with. Haha. My current wallpaper.
